Max Bell, owner of Division 8 Designs, is an architectural window and glass representative in Southern California, Arizona, and Hawaii. He was “practically born” into the window industry, as his father, Mitch Bell, owned a glazing company.
At a young age, Bell was already installing vinyl in storefront and caulking receptor systems, and began a lifelong love of technology working with AutoCAD. He’s an IT specialist by training, but loves the architectural products industry as a career.
Designing sustainable window systems is at the top of Bell’s list, a hot topic with his West Coast architects. His work includes historic and human-impact window applications, along with vacuum insulated glass.
Beyond the work.
Bell uses his time off doing home improvement projects, putting his hands-on skills—and YouTube—to use. He loves local stand-up comedy shows, researching the stock market, poker tournaments, and cooking.
